Development version

The source code of Choreonoid, which is under development, is maintained in a git repository, and is availabe on github at the following address:

Please use this development version if you want to use the latest features of Choreonoid, report bugs, suggest improvements, etc. For build instructions, please refer to the official manual.

APT Repository for Ubuntu

We provide an APT repository for Ubuntu Linux at ppa:choreonoid.org/stable, from which you can install pre-built binary packages of the latest release version. Currently supporting Ubuntu 24.04 and 22.04.

You can install with the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:choreonoid.org/stable
sudo apt update
sudo apt install choreonoid
