Install by Installer (For Windows)

Here we describe how to install Choreonoid to Windows by using an installer.

First, please download the installer from the page of ../download.

Attention

If “Norton Internet Security” is installed in your PC, it automatically deletes downloaded files without any notifications. Please partly turn off such a function of your “Norton Internet Security” to avoid this problem.

Please double-click the above icon of the installer. In Windows7, the following dialog for the user account control is shown, and click “Yes” in this case.

Then the setup wizard to install Choreonoid is invoked and please click “Next”.

The following dialog is shown. This shows the licenses of Choreonoid and libraries used in it and request the agreement to them. If you can agree with it, please click “Accept”. Otherwise, the installer is finished and you cannot install Choreonoid.

If you agreed with all the licenses, the dialog to setup the install options is shown. Usually you can click “Next” without modifying the default setting.

Then the dialog for setting the folder to install Choreonoid is shown. Usually the default folder setting is no problem, but if you want to install into a different folder, please specify it in this dialog. After the folder setting is finished, please click “Next”.

Next, the dialog moves to the setting of the start menu. Usually the default setting is no problem, but you can modify the folder in the start menu if you want. Now the install is started when you click “Install”.

After the install is finished, the following message is shown, and you can finish the installer by clicking “Finish”.

Choreonoid can be invoked from the start menu, or you can also invoke it by double-clicking the Choreonoid icon put on the desktop.
